At our recent Customer Advisory Summit, our CEO Mike Scharf, shared Gravitate’s long-term vision for fully autonomous fuel dispatch. Autonomous fuel dispatch isn’t a switch you flip; it’s a progression. Today, Gravitate has obtained Level 3, where AI doesn’t just forecast demand and make recommendations, but autonomously generates orders and schedules deliveries based on real-time inventory signals, constraints, and business rules. Current customers are experiencing 2.5%-5% increase in loaded miles. This is a meaningful inflection point: dispatch teams move from manual decision-making to oversight, focusing their time on exceptions and strategic priorities instead of constant recalculation. From here, our roadmap advances toward minimal exception handling and, ultimately, fully autonomous dispatch, where the system continuously learns, adapts, and executes with confidence. Our mission is simple but ambitious: remove guesswork from fuel logistics and give operators a smarter, more resilient way to run their business.

As Sheetz accelerated toward 1,000 stores, its fuel logistics team faced a familiar dilemma: scale operations or scale headcount.
